The candidate should be:

  • Producing high quality project design deliverables in construction documents
  • Ensuring all plans are compliant with bylaws governmental & authority bylaws and local & international best practices & standards
  • Researching and maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials
  • Monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required
  • Liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and that project requirements are met
  • Bringing great, fresh ideas to the team that are project-appropriate
  • Developing vignettes and hand sketches of architectural ideas that work in the space and meet intended design goals; articulate why concepts work to the team using sound, logical reasoning
  • Producing concept boards of images for feedback and approval from the management and clients, which capture the intended look and attitude and that reflect branding and positioning with architecture, color, finish materials, and lighting
  • Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets
  • Actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable and confident in the role of project leader in external team meetings with Clients

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or similar
  • Minimum 10 years experience in designing & managing multi-storey commercial & residential projects and managing team of architects (Application will not be considered if minimum criteria is not met)
  • Presentation Skills and an ability to communicate effectively
  • PCATP registration is mandatory.
