Zameen.com is looking to recruit a skilled professional for its ‘Associate Director-Legal’ post

The incumbent will the in-house contracts team of 3-4 lawyers, including pushing the team to ensure timeliness, capacity and skill-building of the team, and ensuring dissemination of required training and development programs through the HR & OD department and ensuring retention of adequate, efficient and effective human resources.

They will be responsible for drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contracts covering a range of commercial transactions, including joint ventures and construction contracts, including contract close-outs, renewals and extensions. In addition, they will manage the contracts repository, database, and correspondence related to contracts as well as related deadlines.

They advise internal stakeholders on complex commercial transactions, negotiating and liaising with clients and business partners where required. They will be expected to assist the Head of Legal on strategic and business development projects and act as a direct resource for internal legal queries by keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business. They will be provide support, and advice on as well as identify new business opportunities and manage all aspects of legal risk and develop/implement mechanisms for mitigation. Moreover, they will be identifying opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.

Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Law

Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with a law firm of repute, with a proven track record, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.
