Job Brief:

The Content Manager/Editor will be responsible for going over the content team’s writing material for the blog and ensuring all articles are ready to be published according to plan. The job holder will also be responsible for creating some articles for the blog, PR reports, when and as required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completing writing blogs, following content requirements and meeting deadlines

• Conducting research on any given topic

• Revising and updating blogs according to the project’s requirements

• Include and optimize all content for SEO

• Help create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery

• Communicate and cooperate with other team members as well as sources to extract and corroborate information for blogs

• Ensure our articles entertain the reader whilst capturing Bayut’s voice

• Review, edit, verify and fact check editorials prepared by the team

• Be able to field last minute edits and revisions and address any editorial / grammar typos and inaccuracies

• Develop content ideas, considering our reader and audience appeal

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5-6 years of experience

• Location: Lahore

• Education: Graduation from a well reputed institute

• Ability to manage own workload and changing demands

• A keen eye for detail

• A can-do and flexible approach

• Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast pace environment

• Strong collaborative skills

• Fluent English Strong writing and editing skills

• Excellent Communication skills
